Welcome to Adopt A Cabin
An opportunity for you and your church/group to become part of creating a welcoming, safe place for campers and guests of all ages to get comfortable, rest, and be spiritually renewed at Camp Bethel.

What is
Adopt A Cabin?
Our desire is for every camper to find a home away from home. Sure... it's camp! It's rustic and there will be spiders and mud and stinky socks. But when kids, families, and guests of all ages come back to rest, they'll find a solid roof, sturdy walls, and varying levels of coziness depending on the cabin. So whether it's Hope Cottage, a reclaimed log cabin with a "duck-when-you-enter" front door, cozy cottage feel and its own kitchen perfect for a family or small group, the rustic "Dawg House" by the lake, or our bunk rooms where night time devotions happen during youth camp, we hope every guest will be able to feel rested and safe so God can teach, challenge and equip them with all He has for them here at this beloved retreat in the mountains.
Adopting a cabin or other space at Camp Bethel is a program where churches and individuals can invest time and resources to help us create and maintain these spaces. It's a way you can become part of the legacy of ministry, and in a sense take ownership of the resource God has provided - a place where generations are connected to Christ and to each other.

How can we be involved?

-
Pray
Begin praying now for the space God may want you to invest in. Pray for those who will stay in the space, that they'll experience physical comfort and welcome, to make way for the spiritual work God may do in their lives when they stay in this space!

-
Give
You can make a donation to Camp Bethel and specify you'd like your investment to go toward adopting a cabin or meeting space. Designate "Adopt A Cabin" on your check; if you want to donate online, you can give here.

Serve
Reach out to our team to see how you can be part of actually updating & caring for one of our cabins or other spaces. We'll help you assess which might be best for you & your church/group based on the needs for the space and the abilities you have. We'll walk you through how to create a welcoming, comfortable and safe environment, from repairs to upkeep to decor, from choosing materials to coming to help us get the work done! We've put together an information packet that details steps you can take for a particular space. If you'd like to tour camp and get an idea of the specific needs and opportunities, email or call our director Brian and set up a time to visit!
