Summer Staff

Camp Bethel is committed to increasingly help churches and communities show up with local adult leadership.  We believe that camp is an incredible opportunity to "get away from the everyday," but we also know that the local church is God's ordained community and it's where follow-up, and relational discipleship happen.

What You'll Do

Working alongside our year-round staff, seasonal staff serve as physical and spiritual support. This means your job will involve working in multiple areas around camp including (but not limited to)

Kitchen and dining room help

Skill-appropriate maintenance and housekeeping (you'll probably learn some useful life skills!)

Lake time, gym & outdoor activities help, and paintball refereeing

Outpost (our camp coffeeshop and mercantile) & Caboose (our lakeside snack bar)

Being a friendly, welcoming and helpful face/resource for all our guests and campers!

Here's How You'll Grow!

In addition to lifelong friendships formed with summer staff, you'll have lots of opportunities for personal growth.  Some of our staff activities include:

Daily team meetings/prayer

Dorm devotional time

Weekly team building/outings (past outings have included hiking, waterfall exploring, outdoor concerts, 4th of July celebrations, speaking/worship leading at local churches, etc)

Did we mention hard work?  :)  You'll sweat, you'll get dirty, you'll be tired often... but you'll also make some amazing memories that will impact your life.  And you'll LAUGH lots!

We are so thankful for photographers who have captured all that God is doing here at Camp Bethel! A special thanks to Angela Sackett of Legacy Seven Studios, Olivia Toomer of livygreyphotography, & Josie Kent of josiejunephotography!
